Handwoven Kids Rug: Muddy Playground Turkish Kilim Rug (2`2`` x 4`7``)

As kids we used to make mud by mixing earth with water and with this mud we would form beautiful pottery sometime a pot, sometimes a flower or a house.

Or we would draw pictures of butterflies, little lambs, kids, houses, flowers with a branch on a smooth, hard piece of earth. We would etch those pictures on the ground with force, so that the winds would not erase them. This was the best part of playing with limited, natural materials and being one with nature.

These rugs are inspired by the games that triggered our childhood imagination. As we mentioned before each rug tells a story created with the joy of touching those childhood dreams and flying towards those dreams on these rugs, you are welcome to join us.

We create rugs using hundred percent wool and natural dyes compatible with the nature of children.
